Alex Calicchia
Chief Hiveologist™ and CEO
Alex Calicchia founded Hive Partners in 2015 after more than three decades working with leadership teams across financial services, healthcare, energy, telecommunications, and other complex industries.
Over the course of his career, Alex noticed a consistent pattern: most organizations don’t struggle because they lack intelligence or strategy. They struggle because important decisions slow down once leadership alignment starts to drift.
Through Hive Partners, Alex facilitates the disciplined leadership conversations that create real alignment, helping executive teams clarify ownership, reinforce decisions, and move initiatives forward with greater speed and confidence.
A certified facilitator and executive coach, Alex is trained to guide complex conversations, surface different perspectives, and help leadership teams move from discussion to commitment. He is also certified through Cornell University in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, bringing a structured approach to ensuring all voices are heard while maintaining focus on results.
Outside of his professional work, Alex serves on the board of Girls Inc. of Greater Houston, supporting the organization’s mission to help young girls grow up Strong, Smart, and Bold.
Known for his direct and practical approach, Alex focuses less on theory and more on helping organizations achieve what matters most: clear decisions, aligned leadership, and meaningful progress.

Cheryl Hewett
Senior Hiveologist™
Cheryl brings more than 25 years of experience helping organizations translate complex ideas into programs that drive real results. As a Senior Hiveologist™ at Hive Partners, she works alongside leadership teams to clarify priorities, surface critical insights, and support the alignment needed to move important initiatives forward.
Her career spans both the private and public sectors, where she has led large-scale programs and helped organizations better understand the needs of their stakeholders. While working with global technology leaders such as HP and Cisco, Cheryl focused on market segmentation, Voice of the Customer initiatives, and building customer communities that helped organizations make more informed decisions and strengthen market position.
Earlier in her career, Cheryl managed nationwide programs supporting major public institutions including NASA and the U.S. Department of Energy, giving her a unique perspective on how large organizations navigate complexity, risk, and change.
At Hive Partners, Cheryl brings a thoughtful, structured approach to helping leadership teams turn insights into action, strengthening alignment and supporting the decisions that help organizations achieve their most important goals.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the University of Utah. She was recognized with the Association of Women in Computing Leadership in Technology Award and has served as an advisor to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. She currently serves on the Historic Preservation Board in Park City, Utah, where she contributes to the stewardship of the community she calls home.
